Hi.....HELP!
You think you know a bit about your van until this.
She was running rough and stalling, so I gave in after trying a few things and had the injectors replaced yesterday (mechanic's advice and $700 later). It's still running rough and there's gas smelling smoke coming out of the exhaust. Now he says that all 6 cylinders are firing instead of 4 and that it now MAY require a new control module, but he's not sure.
I lifted spark plug #6 right off the distributor cap and it had NO effect, just as if there was no plug. I'm thinking that maybe the wires are actually on the wrong positions.
The funny thing is that the van seems to run fine and not stalling until the engine heats up to normal operating temp.
Any ideas?
