The sensor your talking about is the Ambient Temp High Sensor, which is located on the right side of the intake when your facing the engine bay. This will throw a P0073

Now I have an AEM Shortie on my 04 SRT, and theres a hole in the intake thats there specifically for the ambient temp high sensor. Most all intakes have this hole so that you don't throw a code. What type of intake do you have?? I've never seen anyone with any intake have this problem or throw this code unless it wasn't put back into place or if it happened to get wet on accident or by driving in wet conditions.

Find the hole on the intake for the ATHS, if there isn't one, then you could always mount it inside the wheel well, or drill your own hole.
