Does anyone agree that they need a tight little spoiler for the back of the magnum? Nothing like a whale tail but something to accent it's rear. The factory "spoiler" is just wimpy.

I'm gonna fabricate somthing to keep the dirt off of my rear window and tailgate. If it works, I'll shave that uglt rear wiper. Until then, it's required.
I don't mind the looks of the back at all. I'll be making the wing for function... and trying to make it look cool in the process.

Deflectshield, I think, was started years ago for station wagons.
They then made the clear bug shields.
Of course our Magnums are not station wagons but something is needed to keep the dirt off.
Somebody make something that works but does not take away from the Magnum looks, and does not hurt gas mileage, and we can sell a bunch.

A "spoiler" in the normal sense of the word will make the dirt problem worse. We need an air deflector that directs a curtain of air down over the rear hatch. I have been thinking about some Vortex generators to make the air wrap around the back and reduce the vacuum created there by the blunt trailing shape of the car. I used them on my Bonneville car but have not figured out how to do it on the Magnum without it looking like I live in a hillbilly state.

I just wish it came with a solid black interior with leather.... As far as the exterior, I wish they kept the design of the headlights found in the 2003 magnum concept...

Personnally, i'm glad they don't have a spoiler... I think i've even seen minivan's with spoilers... way too played out...
