2000 stratus transmission problem

Howdy everyone,
I have a 2000 stratus that just threw a check engine light at me.
I hooked up my autotap to it and came back with the following codes.

h p0715 "input Turbine Speed CKT. Malfunctionisp1
h p0731 first gear incorrect ratio
h p0732 gear 2 incorrect ratio
h p0734 fourth gear incorrect ration
h p0700 transmission control system

Symptoms -
Check engine light = On
When shifting into drive, transmission clunks, lurches into gear
Accellerating up to 60 mph is fine
when coasting, transmission doesnt shift to nuetral, it effectively engine brakes.
coming down in speed the tranny shifts hard

RPM's are roughly in norms all speeds, speedometer returns proper speed
Checked tranny fluid, nice, pink, full.

Any ideas?

Sounds to me like a turbine input speed sensor. I recommend you check out http://www.allpar.com/fix/trans.html

Good morning everyone,

Have some more information. I drove the car to work today, it would shift into park, nuetral, reverse, and drive. The gears within drive however would only use 1 gear. I didnt have my computer hooked up, however at 55 mph I was at 5000 rpm... definately higher then normal (normal is 2200-2500).

Thanks a bunch, replaced my input speed sensor on my tranny, working pretty good now. (all though its a pain in the rear to get too)..
