Why no Sure-grip option?

I'm curious to know if anyone has the skinny on the reason why no Sure-grip (posi-traction) option is available for the new D. MY '04 LTD has every option but the engine block heater, and it seems a sure-grip should be standard especially with the Hemi...and 3.92's...I'd guess the traction control feaure has something to do with it...Although the D got around great in the recent snow, it's 4wd system is nothing like my '99 Jeep GC LTD's Quadra-drive...What say you?

Different rear end, and they don't make them for that axle yet.

Yeah....I was but disappointed when I saw the 8 1/4" axle on my '04.
I much prefer the 9 1/4 on my '02.
