I started hearing a metal on metal sound yesterday from one of the wheels. It happened twice and then went away. Today I heard a rattle after I hit a bump and then the screeching sound started. I pulled over and called roadside assistance who got there within a half hour. Anyway off to the dealer and 36 dollars later they found a very hard rock between the backing plate and the rotor. They had to charge me for finding the rock but said I wouldnt be charged for the tow ( I hope not, it was a long way to the dealer).
