Would you be interested in the Neon with a Supercharger from the factory ?
GM has had it on their vehicles for a while
Ford did some as well
Here's a shot of the new Chevy Cobalt - the "SS" version will come with a factory supercharger
Whats your .02 ?
Should MOPAR offer one as well ?

The original concept of the SRT-4 was a supercharged version, it will NEVER come in a neon as hood clearances are an issue. Besides the neon is over in 06'.

A full factory warranty with a supercharger would want me to say "Yes."
The standard turbo version can be easily modified to much more power, either aftermarket or MOPAR Performance Parts.
Either version would get my vote of "Yes!"

First, the concept of a supercharger on a lightweight FWD car is insane. "Instant powah" as the weight shifts off the drivewheels... brilliant. Can't wait to hear the complaints rolling in as diff pins start getting launched.
Second, a turbocharged setup will always have more potential than a supercharged setup. Physics will never be replaced by marketing. There have been a couple of supercharged Neons, none making impressive numbers (low- to mid-200's at the wheels). Turbo Neons are putting out over 350 WHP by the dozens. A handful are passing the 500+ WHP mark and still streetable.
Third, the Cobalt SS/Ion Redline is a joke to all but the F&F fanclub. Wider tires don't make up for a lack of independent rear suspension. You shouldn't be required to upgrade your sound system to get forced induction. Leather is not a performance upgrade.
Just my $0.02 though...
