Hi. I checked all throughout their web sites and cannot find mention of this. Can you tell us how you found out? Do you know release dates? Thanks, Bill :flippy:

Yeah I'd like to know too.... although I dont collect those smaller scales....
What I'm really waiting for, is a Magnum in 1/18 scale!
Maisto will be doing two versions (confirmed) of the 300C this year in 1/18 scale but as of yet, no Magnums. :(

Yeah, it sucks that they would do the 300 and not the Magnum. But eh... at least they're getting around to them now. :D

I need one in 1/18.
I collect cars that I have owned. I guess I'm a sports car nut,
because they keep making Diecast models of cars I've owned.
5 Corvettes
3 Mustangs
3 Camaros
1 Trans Am
1 Ford Lightning
1 240Z Datsun
1 Chevy El-camino
and my 1st car a 1970 Ford Torino
plus a few others that weren't really sports cars
and there's the wifie's Lexus on top too. I've got to give her top billing.
Some colors are right, some aren't.

For those who dont know, JADA is the manufacturer of the DUBZ series diecasts.
This means, oversized rims and oddball paintjobs.
Sadly, this car, even if it does come in the larger scale, wont be joining my collection.
I have already ordered the 1/18 Maisto 300C though, from www.diecastmuscle.com.

There is a '97 Jeep Grand Ckerokee in there,
but I'm not sure you can call that a MOPAR can you?
I was raised by a diehard Ford man.
Would that be considered Child Abuse? LOL

LOL, I think maybe not abuse but definitely a lack of parental direction! :D
Check out my MOPAR's... this isnt actually all of 'em, frankly I've gotten to the point where it's impossible to display them all at once, but I do have another room full of just Dodge trucks and I'll have to take pics of that. The trucks are my current project, I'm trying to get all the 1/18 Dodges that are made. The last car is the '67 Coronet from Supercar collectibles which just came a few days ago.

I suppose I understand that they are trying to appeal to kids of today, but so few companies offer the cars in stock versions. Why would I want a car built up in a way that basically no one has. Here's an Idea for these guys. Offer the cars in stock versions, with interchangeable wheels. They might even make some money on adding parts to the cars.... 22" mags sold separately....like that! :whackit:

I have been in communication with Maisto over the past couple weeks and here is what I found out. Maisto is doing the Magnum in both 1:64 and 1:43. The requests have increased dramatically for the 1:18, so they have added it to their "maybe" list.
Since I collect 1:18 (over 300 high end), that is what I am really interested in, but I will take both the 1:64 and 1:43 until we see a 1:18.

Maybe if their in-box was flooded with requests, they'd move off the 'maybe' list to the 'to do' list! Just a thought! :D

I agree. I have worked closely with both GMP and Lane, and customer feedback and input really helps drive their products. So, on that note, here is the link to contact Maisto and put your two cents in. I already have. Charles Hepperle is good at responding to inquiries.

this is as close as I've been able to come so far:
http://www.media-match.com/portfolio/13/66418.jpg
This was a hotwheel with some funky paint and a huge blower. I modded it to look as much like my magnum as I could.
Toys R Us is your friend for this one.

Well I picked up two of the Dropstar 300C's today. Not bad but they're so tiny they really can't have much detail. Gonna keep them in the plastic. If I take them out I know they'll get lost. Also picked up a Dub City 1/24 scale Licoln Navigator and 2003 Dodge Ram. They're keeping my 1/18 scale 1964 Chevy Impala company. Hmmm. I may have started something I won't easily be able to stop. (ha ha!) Now let's see how long before the wife notices the new additions. :D
