Has anyone purchsed the Uconnect feature yet after they bought the car?

Having a hard time trying to figure out if it works just like the fatory install minus the fact its not on the rearview mirror and does not use the stereo speakers.. Does it still install into the radio and show the number display?

I believe it will mute the radio, but no numbers will show up. Information I got from Uconnect was that it does not intergrate with the factory radio. If you want the Bluetooth feature, go with the Blue tooth speaker. It cost a lot less, and depending on your phone it will give you more features.

I have the Mopar UConnect. It is Bluetooth just like the factory system. In fact it *is* the factory system as far as software goes. You don't get the caller ID out of the radio. That would have been nice but I can just hang up on 'em :D

I put up some pics and more description here:

I mention in that write-up that my speed needs to go down to 65 to talk and over time I haven't found that to hold up. I can bomb along at 80 no problem. Noisy pavement dictates how fast I can go.
