Nice truck, but they are just now hitting lots as we speak! I did see one on tv tonight, it was impressive.

looks like they finally hit the dealer. haven't seen one at local dealer yet, but they're on ebay now. one is up to almost 40k, and the reserve hasn't been met. plus it's the basic model, no leather or upgraded stereo.
The 5 star here has had a silver one out front for about 2 weeks now.
They added a couple of dealer installed packages to it too, unless it comes with a bull bar and Northwest Auto leather.
The dealer uses a local shop to install this stuff at an extremely high markup.

Don't know about the auto trucks... but the 6 speeds won't be built until Feb. 4th.

It would be even better with a Cummins Powerplant! :)
Delays on the Power Wagon may be attributed to a couple things, the first are the (Hemi) motors themselves, and the backlog. Second they are putting the (Hemi) in just about everything that moves in order to sell any vehicle they can imagine.
Was reading Off-Road Magazine just the other day, and the only weakness this “Power Wagon” has, deals primary with the (5.7L Hemi Power Plant). This thing was designed with a Cummins Diesel in mind, and I believe that's where D.C. will eventually go with this monster. Just imagine the things behemoths like these are capable of doing: With that tremendous suspension, not to mention its colossal curb-weight, along with a 12,000 lb. working winch. Now the 5.7L Hemi is a pretty good power plant, but this is something else.

yea a CTD would be nice in it....if u never take it off roading...but the power wagon is built to hit the trails and run thru the mud....having a CTD in it would be too heavy for that......i agree the 5.7 is too small for it, but at least a big block v8 instead of a CTD
I'd love to have the Cummins in it, but I don't expect that to happen. I imagine a locked front axle + Cummins engine would = lots of snapped u-joints. I think the Cummins puts out too much torque to offer it with front and rear lockers AND a warranty.
They complain about the power in auto ext. cabs. My truck will be a manual reg. cab so it won't be bad at all. And when they complain about power it's all relative. The Hemi is a perfectly functional power plant for a fullsize truck, it just isn't flashy.
