Anyone tried the new Edge Juice and Attitude Monitor on a 600 yet? I saw it was finally on their site today. Can't decide which computer upgrade to do. I know for extreme go TST but I don't know about something a little more mild. Plus I've only got 2,000 miles on the motor.

I haven't tried it myself but I've seen several posts about the computer throwing codes after installing them....

As far as trying them out, don't know for sure yet. We got them in a couple of days ago and they are going out just as fast. According to Edge all of the bugs are worked out, so that's why they finally released them. I'm anxious to get one on my buddies truck to see how it feels. If it's anything like the other Edge products, I'm sure it will be beautiful!

As always, let me know if I can help.

It looks nice and overall would save money over another box and gauges, but I still like the ease of removal of any other box like the EZ if need be when I go into the dealer.

I got mine installed and I really like it. I checked for codes today and did not have any. You would not believe the difference it has made, I am running it on 2 for now to see how my mileage is going to be.

Make sure you hand calculate your mileage. Don't just go by the overhead as they have a tendancy to get out of whack when a fueling box is added....

I got mine installed Monday. The hardest part was drilling the manifold for the EGT Probe. Drill a small hole and then the 5/16 hole. You need a tap with an extension so you can get above the manifold to turn the tap without it hitting the head. The instructions say to run the wire for the display through the door opening and through a foam seal in the top of the fender. I just took the 2 bolts out that hold the trim and o sh!t handle on and dropped the wire down the dash and out through the unused grommet by the steering column. Looks alot better than a wire hanging out.The Edge adds alot of mid range grunt!! noticable even on 1. Stepping on it at about 45 in 6th puts a big smile on your face!!! Pulls really strong!! You can customize the display with up to 4 readouts of your choice, I picked EGT, Engine temp, boost and Intake temp. All in all, it is an expensive product, but worth it. I like the fact that it protects against clutch/tranny slip, High EGTs, and Overboost. I like it.

Is slip normal in automatic transmissions? I was looking through my "records" on my attitude monitor and it said "Slip" 4%. I'm kind of assuming that it's transmission slip. Other than that question, this system is great and I would do again in a heartbeat.

Some slip yes, I don't think 4% would be a problem... you'll know it's not good when you can really feel it.

Mine slipped with my EZ on level 4 but only while towing. A DTT converter and valve body solved that problem........

Has anyone had any problems with the Juice/Attitude? 4 times this weekend I touched the buttons to do something, it's different every time and the display just shuts off. The first time I got in the fuse box to see if it had came loose but it was fine. Since then I've just turned the truck off and back on and the display is just fine. I was just seeing if anything similars happened to anybody.

I have had the same problem maybe 4 times total... like you said, shut the truck off and back on and all is ok. ?????

Go to www.dodgetruckworld.tenmagazines.com and read the posts under diesel that starts with "bad luck with edge juice". Read the horror stories. :WHT:

I called Edge about the monitor shutting off. They said the attitude monitor was probably bad and have one in the mail to me as we speak. Great customer service.

Or a muffler or an intake, or just about anything that makes a physical change that the engine has to adapt to!

I put mu Juice w/Attitude on earlier this week. Really easy to install. I don't use the A-piller holder, just velcro the Attitude to the top of the Steering column. Power is good, and no codes. Level 1 is nice, way more power when passing, but not as responsive from a stop as the higher levels. Level 3 is nice when you have to accelerate quickly.
According to the built in performance meter, I think Level 3 dropped my 1/4 mile time by 2 seconds compared to stock (everything else on the truck was stock.)
Once you get the computer, you will probbably want to upgrade the intake and exhaust. That is what I'm working on now.

If you have an automatic trans, be prepared to spend $$$$ to upgrade it also if you plan to run the higher output settings.

I am one of those that posted of problems with my Juice/Attitude on DTW. I have identified a problem with the Juice/Attitude 48RE monitoring. It does not show trans "LocK" and "Slip" properly and the "Transmission Setup" option to backoff on slip resets itself from "On" to "Off". This appears to be random and not all seem to have this issue. This obviously a major concern to me since I have a stock transmission for now. Explained my problem to an Edge support person and they shipped me a new Juice/Attitude. The new Juice module had what is suspected to be a bad wiring harness and threw a bunch of codes. This time I spoke with Arron at Edge and went through my irritation. He said they had just had a local truck and Juice module with the identical problem. I sent back the bad Juice module with the original Attitude. The new Attitude is a newer software version.

I reinstalled the Juice/Attitude on my truck. I just have to be careful and stay off the "extreme" setting for sure.

Arron gave me a call today just to update me on where they are. He said they are working to determine the problem and a fix. He will let me know as soon as he has more info.

I really like the box and the options. All of the other power settings and programming seem to work as intended. Just hope they find a fix soon for the trans monitoring. So for now I am satisfied with Edge, their customer support and their responses. Level 3 with "Low Fuel Boost" setting on 3 is about the same power as the DR Performance 85hp/160fpt box I tried before.

I do plan to upgrade to DTT TC, Valve Body and billet input shaft soon. By then the Hot Juice should be available. Arron said they were Dynoing truck as we spoke with the Hot box.
