Can anyone help me document if I have a Warlock?

I recently purchased a '77 stepside with all the stripping like a warlock, but it is orange/ 318 and a 2 bbl. the rear gears seem to make the rpm higher on the freeway.

Any help would be apreciated.

warlocks were available with any engine and trans, not sure bout the color though. have you checked out the serial number, or found the build sheet? there's also outfits that sell replacement window stickers with the information from your serial and fender tag numbers.

Ram Man desifered a VIN for another member a few days ago. I will ask him where he got his info.

BTW: Your VIN is not something you want to post on the internet. All the members here that I have delt with are a fine group of people, but you never know who else could be here. Just a thought.

more info:

you can't tell by the VIN#.
what to look for:
look on data plate on rad support should have code: GK9
obviously, the gold pinstripes.
the dash and doors will also have these same stripes.
bucket seats w/console(or buddy seat) all warlocks had this.
tuff wheel
chrome steps on stepside box.
wheels: either gold wagon type or chrome 5 disc(lil red wheels)
should have wood oak side boards for stake pockets.

available colors:
black (most common)
bright or medium canyon red
citron green
teal green sunfire(rare)
sunrise orange(rare)
sable brown(rare)
the 3 rare colors i have never seen but were available.

only interior color was black.

warlocks were available from 76-80
79-80 were called warlock II and they will have this name on the tailgate, as 76-78 said "dodge"

The VIN number: D13BE7S028436, is correct for the truck.
The records on trim packages like the Warlock were not recorded until 1979.
Numbers on the warlock were not available due to Chryslers archive being
closed.

I will need more information to determine if it is in fact a Warlock.

Check under the hood and see if the equipment label is still attached. If
so, look for the code for the Warlock Trim Package.

77 stepside - can you check under the Hood ?

I have a 77 Warlock and they did make a few in a orangey red colour and as far as the stipes go you have to get them copied off your truck (by a stencil) from a stipe shop thats what I had to do and they also had slant 6 in them 318. and 360 2 bbl also 360 4 bbl (thats what mine is) and also a 400. but it is true that chrysler did not document any of the stuff for these trucks, so this makes it hard to say what it does have and what its not to have .. Iam haveing the same problem with mine .... Mines all black inside and out and I was haveing a hard time finding parts but I found the hard stuff now its trying to put it all togher hope this gives you some Idea and if you have any more questions on the truck feel free to ask I be a newbe but I now my mopars

If you think yours came that way the fifth digit of the VIN# should be a "T"
360 2bbl was an "F"
360hp was an "S" and was available in 1978-80.

let us know:)
