Has anyone painted their stock grill yet?
I think I'm gonne tear into it. Looks like if I sand it good enough I won't have any chipping problems. I may just carefully wrap each bar with 1.5" black vinyl striping. I dig the billet grill, especially the two that fill the bottom vents. Mrs grinner is gettin a bit bent out of shape from my spending moola on my ride though.

Carriage Works Billet grills has a full set of bars for the Magnum.

I had the best results when painting stock grills by having them powder coated.
Getting bug mess off painted grills will peel spray paint.

hAS ANYBODY INSTALLED ONE OF THE CARRIAGE BILLET GRILLES????? i GOT A POWDER COATED BLACK ONE THIS WEEK,INSTALLED BOTTOM SECTION WITH QUITE A BIT OF TROUBLE. fOLLOWING THEIR INSTALLATION INSTUCTIONS FOR TOP PORTION UNABLE TO FOLLOW STEP THREE TO PULL LOWER GRILLE OUT TO EXPOSE FOUR SCREWS. cAN ONLY FORCE IT OUT ENOUGH TO BARELY EXPOSE TABS,CAN'T BEGIN TO SEE THE SCREWS WITHOUT MAJOR FORCING AND POSSIBLY DESTROYING FACTORY GRILLE. CALLED CARRIAGE AND THE GUY THEY PUT ON STATED GRILLE PULLS OUT 3"-4",MINE ONLY MOVES ABOUT 3/4". anyone had better luck?????
GOT HUSKY LINER FLOOR MATS ALSO THAT ARE MOLDED TO CONTOUR OF FLOORPAN AND HAVE THE SIDE LIPS TO CONTAIN SLUSH,ETC. THEY HAVE UPPER AND LOWER REAR CARGO AREA ALSO NOW,ALL ARE BLACK ONLY. HAVE A GOOD DAY---PIGMAN

I went ahead and sprayed my stock grille yesterday. Looks good.
I asnded and painted the ram logo up front as well.
I don't see having chip probs on the grill as I prepped it very well but I figured I'll have to touch up the logo from time to time.

man, I'll get in the now one of these daze.
Still don't have a digital camera.
I'll take some soon. I did get a couple with a regular camera when it was stock.
Just havn't developed the film yet.
