I posted this over on the dodge.net forum too..First off, I like it ..a lot. second off, I would not deal with NYC dashes INC again. I got a great deal with this company but it turned into a hassle dealing with them and getting the deal they offered, NYC dashes are not customer service oriented at all. It all worked out at the price originally agreed upon but what a hassle and delayed delivery. I won't go into that, but trust me you can get a good deal elsewhere without using this company. Fortunatly I am satisfied with the product. I got the full walnut burl kit. What was once a sterile, yet acceptable dash and interior design has now been transformed into an interior with richness and character without( imho) being garish or flashy. I think it could be overkill if all the parts are used..maybe..I did not install the large piece that goes above the glovebox with the chrome MAGNUM letter inserts but I did install dam near every other piece provided. Almost every piece fit perfectly except a couple of strips that go below the radio and the little storage space under the ac controls that had to be snipped off a tad. After spending 5+ hours carefully installing it I lost perspective and could not judge what the change of interior appearence actually looked like... if you know what I mean. However when the wife hopped in it she just about messed her drawers....She loved it. She said this is the way it should come from the factory. yeah I think its a natural, Super with the Inferno Red and the light leather . Pitfalls? the pieces that go above the gauges..trim the backside of these off so they dont have to be bent to provide the proper fit. once you attach this stuff it is on there for good very tenacious 3m tape. Scuse me, I gotta go out in the garage and take another look at it. yeah.... that's saucy......

I'm seriously thinking about a more 'aluminium' look - I like the stock around-the-shifter part, anyone do anything like that yet?

I agree that the dash is plain and would also like to do either wood (not sure if appropriate with interior) or better yet in an aluminum style to match shift knob and or steering wheel inserts.
Where did you get your kit? What was the cost? Anyone know if Alum is available?

There are several people who have the Aluminum kit.
I installed the Bene Vento "Brushed Stainless Steel with Clearcoat". The color wasn't perfect to the factory, but close. I'm thinking of trying another one. If you will go to here:
http://www.nycdashes.com/cart/customer/product.php?productid=7703&cat=2154&page=1
mine looks like the "RBA Real Brushed Aluminum" at the bottom of the page.
I saw the Woodview one at SEMA on a Rouch Magnum. But the side door strips are chrome and I didn't think I wanted that, but in retrospect it matches the door handles and would of looked fine.
I dealt with the Exotic Wood Dash people on a Mustang once and you can pull off piece's of the car (dash) and send them to them and they will coat it and it will look exactly like it came with the car. Not an add on. They call it Custom Coating.

One guy on here said the NYC Dashes were an exact color match, but I didn't want the center console to be in three pieces, I wanted it to be one piece. I did buy a set for my daughter's 4Runner, off these people because she wanted a plain blue one, not Blue Carbon Fiber. They were fine to deal with, it just took about a month to get it, not the 6 to 10 days like they said.
All I put on was the center console around the radio and on the doors, I put the circles around the Door Pulls and the strips down the sides, trying to keep it kind of a factory look, like in the 300.
Happy Hunting, and if anybody finds an exact color match let me know.
When I recieved my dash from NYC dashes I saw that it was really manufactured by AAA Exotic Wood Corp 732-340-0766..I would bypass NYC dashes for the above mentioned reasons. Take my word for it My walnut burl dash looks super in my red Mag. if only I knew how to post pics. duhhh

Thats a great looking kit and not overdone. I'm planning on adding the same thing, whenever it is that I get mine (Still isn't ordered yet but should be ordering in a few weeks.)

Thanks, I wanted it to look factory style, not over done.
I may check out Wood View (see if they will send me a sample). I think their color may match better.
I have the light interior, but if I had the darker interior I may have put the part on surrounding the light switches too.
