It is my understanding(correct me if I heard wrong)that the RT has a 2.82 rear end ratio where as the SXT has a 3.90, which should be interchangeable and would just need a computer fix for it to all work. Is this a fact?
I would actually want 3.55 gears but oh well.....

Car Craft magazine could be wrong but in a recent issue they had an article on the 300C and they said it had a 3.40 axle ratio. ???

I checked on other forums, they say the SXT rear and the AWD rear are different then the RT rear and therefore would not fit...

Also they would not be strong enough to handle the torque output. We need someone who can look into a Mercedes AMG rear to see if it will fit.

3.06 final drive from the upcoming SRT8 might fit fine. That's 8% shorter gearing, so 8% more torque -- you'd feel as though you have 367hp and 421tq. MPG would suffer equivalently.

I'd definitely take the small mpg hit for the increased feel. Now when can we get one?
