97 strat wont start

my 97 stratus all of a sudden wont start when the key is turned the car makes no sound at all it seems like its dead. i checked the fuses and there all good the battery is good. does anyone have any suggestions as to why it wont start? also when it was working and i parked the car and tried to remove the key from the ignition it would not come out. i had to turn the car back on drive the car back and forth then turn it off and finally the key would come out. could this be related to why the car does not start now?

The key sticking in the ignition could have been just a fluke (did it happen more than once?) or the switch and key is getting worn out. As far as the vehicle not starting, it could be some corrosion on the battery cables, a loose connection at the starter, or just a bad starter. A bad ignition switch can cause a no start condition as well. The key problem and the no start problem are probably unrelated.
