This is from a very reliable source on what the '05 Charger will look like on the track. It's Ryan Newman's ALLTEL Dodge.

WOW, I see no resemblance whatsoever to the real car! NASCAR is getting too stupid for words. But whatever, if Dodge wins with this thing, so be it. The other makes' cars look horrible nowadays too.

Those are some sweet fake headlights painted on. The front looks quite a bit wider than the rear, but it just might be the angle the pic was taken. I think it looks pretty good, probably fast as heck no doubt. I'd like to see one painted with the baby blue Richard Petty STP scheme; and put the old one and the new one side by side for some pics. I think that would be pretty cool.

What? You mean things like the fact that the headlights and grill are on the same level on the street car and 6 inches apart on the nascar version? The rear fender flares evident on the street version and none on the nascar version? The complete lack of stick-on foglights?

I can't figure out what the chevy nascar/street monte carlo have in common. The nascar version has a big mesh grill and the street version has no grill.

I'll take one of those 360 powered RWD Intrepids off their hands though to make room for the Charger!

I thought the Aztek was the ugliest thing I have seen. I can't believe the snout protruding off the front helps front down force.

well, that is true....... the Superbird wasnt a popular car either....... the production Superbirds did not sell well and many sat on dealer's lots forever.... now look at how revered these cars are, because of what they accomplished on the track.

I always liked the RamCharger. There was a 90's style (maybe 91-93) running around my area in real good condition. I have not seen it for a while. Always thought if it came up for sale I'd buy it. Not sure if I can say that about the new Charger.

The stock charger is real neat and mean looking.....Now my Ramcharger is totally stock and rust and dent free.....Getting the silver in the middle reshot this spring. With my 2001 Interpid being paid off next month......Might be taking a trip to the dealer to actually sit in one, and who knows????

We been having this discussing on the MML. The new Charger I don't think is a bad car for a 4 door. For someone who has a 68 and 69 calling it a Charger is a problem for me. it's not that I won't buy the Charger because of its looks, I won't buy it because it has to many doors. If they kept the same look minus the rear doors I would seriously consider it. The new Durango when it came out I was not crazy about but it has grown on me and when you compare it to every other SUV it fit my needs perfectly. What I need (yes need) in a daily driver is RWD, 2 doors and a V8. Right now the new Mustang fits my needs.

So you'd say no to a 2 door RWD V10?

That is a viper. Out of my price range. 2 door rwd LX platform with a V10 under 40K and I will be the first in line.

I did own a 2 door V10 RWD (actually part time 4wd). 95 Ram 2500HD 4x4. Traded it for my Durango. Damn, I should have kept it.

It Looks Like A Big Mouth Bass Looking For Food! It Looks Like They Took A Monte Carlo Nose Piece And And Put A Dodge Grille And Head Lamp Decals On
It. I Think Hank Parker Or Roland Martin Designed It!!!!

how can they even call this car a charger. look at the history of the charger. enough said.

it needs to be 2 door and needs to have a big motor.

how can they even call this car a charger. Because the name "Aztec" was already taken.

Actually, I think it will look better in person, but it will still look like the original Charger, which was a Coronet with a fast back put on the top.

The next styling change will make it look OK.

I hope.
