I went to my favorite dealer and drove a new srt. I was really excited up to the point i tried to down shift at low speeds at a stop light. It would not go into 2nd. I really thought the shifter sucked for what kind of car it was. I had an 01' and the action was about the same which suprised me. Also the exhaust drone would drive me nuts about 10 minutes into the drive. I would remove the wing if i bought the car but it really didn't cut down vision too bad. It just looks like ass IMO. Great stout motor but that won't be enough to get me into it. I was really bummed to not like it at all. I could not live with that car everyday!

dodgeneon chick.... To each their own. A little too ricer for me.
I went to a few more dealers and drove their srt's and they were all the same. Just a shitty shifter and poorly developed exhaust. One of the salesman said that dodge tested a reasonater which didn't cost any hp on the srt and it sounded more tame.
I still won't be getting one. I'll wait for the mazpaspeed3 with the 210hp. It will be a 2005.5 model. Late summer!

ya the spoiler on te srt-4 looks like it should be on a civic or corolla...if it wears a dodge emblem and is sold under a dodge name its still a domestic so dont put big spoilers on it that dont do a thing to help its aerodynamics if u want a giant spoiler get a 96 civic IMO....if i got an srt4 i would take the spoiler off and put an sxt spoiler on...

some hondas are okay only if there fast but other then that i dont like em.......ive smoked so meny with my 1st gen neon...some another reason why i dont want a honda...

hondas are great to start out with... but i want a srt 4 i am just looking for one in about a year when i turn 17 by then i should have 3 many 4k in bank... so untell then i think i might wait and buy a used 03-05 i dont know tomuch about the differnecs in them other than the 05 has a 10in in the trunk any1 care to talk to me a lil about this? add me on msn srt_4_88@hotmail.com

the 03s dident have the limited slip and they had michelin pilot sport tires which im my opinion are better than the g force ta kdws on the new ones and they had different computers and smaller injectors and some other differences but i havent followed too much on the srt-4s lately.
