HI Guys'
I am thinking about installing a push pump no my 2001 Ram Diesel and I am wondering if this pump would do the trick,I am going to try and send a picture of the pump that I am thinking about installing and would appreciate if anyone out there could tell me if this pump would work. Thanks

The pump is a 12 volt in line electric fuel pump
5 to 9 PSI,flow 20 to 30 GPH
used in light duty trucks, tractors and stationary engines

I think that you have a good idea with the pusher pump. It would help to take some of the load off the lift pump on the 24v trucks. I think I would opt to get a larger pump, say in the 20-30psi range. It is a good idea tho I may have to try it too.

Hi Ibeenken,
sorry to hear about your troubles and hope you get your truck repaired real soon,I am really thinking hard on installing that 12 volt inline pump,I know it only puts out 5 to 9 lbs pressure but it also pushes 20 to 30 gallons per hour which should be lots of fuel to keep the motor going and the injection pump lubricated, what do you think, does this make any sence to you, would appericate hearing from other guys who want to avoid a brakedown do to a lift pump failure. Thank you.

It makes sense to me because you're taking some of the work load off the life pump and I would think that this would help prolong pump life.
