Auto Transmission will not shift into OD

Anybody have problems with their truck not wanting to shift to overdrive? This only happens when it's cold outside, below 35 degrees or so. Once it warms up it's OK. The truck has 98,000 miles on it but it's done it for the last couple of winters.

I believe there is a temp. sensor in the tranny that won't allow it to shift into OD till it warms up.

yup...not until the tranny fluid hits a certain temp will it shift into OD.
