why would you want to? that's not very easy on drivetrain components, mainly your clutch and tranny. but, rev 'er to redline and dump the clutch. make sure you make a video of it, so we can see you scatter parts all over the road! ;)

That all depends on the SRT-4, its characteristics, type of tires, as well as other modifications made. I've never driven one, so i can't give you a general idea. It's all about getting a feel for a car.
I can tell you as a generalization, a good launch consists of the proper RPM that yields maximum acceleration (little to no tire spin). I know that in a SC2 i used to have, this would mean about a 3k rpm drop at the line.
Another thing you have to worry about on these types of cars is that once you have launched, your first instinct will be to shift too quickly. Let the motor run out to it's peak torque, but dont hit the rev limiter (something you will also need to determine if you can't find that out on here). My SC2 would lose peak torque but still have quite a bit of engine left before redline. Bouncing the tach will only drop your ET's.
Basically,
1-know your cars tires and what it takes to break them loose. Once you find that, stay just below that.
2-Know the cars redline, dont bounce it
3-know the cars peak torque,
4-also, knowing how to work the clutch on take of is critical, learn how to feather.

To launch the srt to it's full potential, rev to about 1500-2200, slip the clutch, and give the car about 3/4 throttle till you've let the clutch out all the way, then floor it, shift around 5500-5800. As you know, the hp drops off after 5300rpm or so, so there really isn't much point in reving it past 5500.
Another thing is, if you launch it any harder then that, you'll get either lots of wheelspin or you'll get whell hop. To get rid of the wheel hop, I recommend psi-fi's traction setup along with some motor mounts, then you'll be able to launch the car much harder.
