Borla ?

You guys out there with the Borla installed. Are we 100% sure that the buzzing vibration is the X member needing the washer trick? Thanks guys..

Hmmm...sounds like that setup is strung a little too tight to the rest of the car. Thx for the info, man...that'll make me look REAL closely at the stock system whilst I replace to try and figure out just where the aftermarket may be hitting. May just need a few well-placed bumpers, or more washers! Did you install it yourself?

Btw, get us a vid or sound clip so we can hear that Borla bro!

Do you realize a noticable change in HP with the Borla? -- and remember, don't let your head tell ya it's there...that's a real easy thing to do upon spending time and money on an upgrade ya know! Be as objective as possib...what am I saying, the Magnum forces subjectivity, heh.

I believe Borla claims about a 3% increase in HP/torque and, frankly, I don't believe I could "perceive" that small amount of difference...dyno would show. Though that small amount of power may be enough to break your tires loose noticeably easier, dunno.

I would love to see numerous shots of the tips as well, not just closeups.

I installed the Borla system and had a strange rumble coming from the rear when I hit rough areas in the road. I put the car back on the lift and checked all clearences. The driver side rear pipe was hitting the body pan where it drops down for the spare tire. The pipe bends out toward the left at that point to clear the pan. I hadn't seated the pipe all the way forward into the muffler.

I've had others tell me about that same thing. I'm going to get it on a lift and check it out. Thanks...
