Water/methanol injection system with everything needed for non-boosted applications including 140psi high volume pump, and an adjustable vacuum switch (0-10 inches) to activate. In this application, water/methanol injection allows the use of pump fuel in all but the most extreme situations which effects tremendous cost savings as well as horsepower increases due to air density increase and realized timing potential. The system is activated by a throttle switch so that injection takes place only during high engine loads when needed.
What do you guys think of this I haven't called the company yet. A friend of mine runs it on his EVO and another is getting it for his STI. Now I have heard good things about it on forced induction cars, on ours I don't know. Just seeing what opions you guys have.

We use to run water-alcohol injection systems on turbocharged aircraft engines years ago to retard detonation and increase power (denser air) under heavy loads. They were called Anti-Detonation Injection (ADI) systems. They are most useful on supercharged engines. These systems, in some form, have been around for years for cars and trucks, too. I use to have a vacuum controlled one on my truck and camper back in the 70's. I use to run 60-40% water-alcohol mix. Looked like diluted white milk. It worked great. I could run more advance and get better gas mileage. The only (and big) downside was in mountainous terrain you could go though 5 gallons in no time at all. I finally gave up on it because carrying the additional weight of the ADI solution pretty much negated the gain in mileage, not to mention the space required to carry it. I don't know how the new systems work or if you can calibrate the amount of solution injected. I also don't believe there is as much need for a system like this today, as timing, mixture, and anti-detonation is now contolled by the vehicle's computers. Would be interesting to research cost of unit, access to, and price of the ADI solution, the ratio of water to alcohol, and how much they say would be consumed, especially under constant heavy load such as in mountain driving towing a trailer. What do they claim are the benefits in mileage, performance, etc.? Interesting though. Keep us posted on what you find out.
