i called up Startech AGAIN.. because i really didn't believe they don't make those headlights anymore in the US and i found out they will special order them for me at the shipped price of $1200!!! OMG! what are they thinking.. i don't even think Mercedes Benz headlights w/ the HIDs are that expensive... !!!

At that price, I think I will just stick to the GE high output bulbs, may not be anywhere close to the Startech's, but at $12.00 CDN a bulb, it sure puts back alot of $$$ into your wallet.

Sure you can get some GE high output bulbs......but they don't look as good as these!

Those look good as well.......but I dunno if they can be used in the US.......the turn signal light looks like it can only be seen from the front.....so the Euro turn signal needs to be used.....

Well the headlamp for my IS300 is just over $1400. I have no idea what light you are talking about, but Startech is a HighEnd company. If it is the company that I am thinking of they are the sister company of Brabus. Brabus specializes in the Mercedes side of things and Startech specializes in the Chrysler side of things.

I'm assuming the headlamp for your IS300 are HID for $1400. I never knew startec was related to Brabus. That would be really cool. I know Brabus parts are really expensive, I was thinking about a ML430 with a Brabus package, but my parents ended up getting the ML55 ///AMG, so no need there.
If Startech is a sister company of Brabus, do you think the California Brabus location imports Startech parts?

Yes they are HID, but my understanding is that is just the housing and nothing else. I don't know and don't care to know. Just hope I don't have to pay for one out of my pocket.
I would assume so, because Startech has sent me information on their Jeep products trying to get me to sell them.

I just checked ebay for the carbon fiber ones, you're right, nobody seems to be selling them anymore, could be beacuse they didnt' sell so well. what you can try is e-mail one of the sellers of the regular ones asking them if they have any carbon fiber ones in stock that they don't have on sale on ebay.
