Fuel tank filler mod

Has anyone modded or run across a mod that allows you to fill your diesel fuel tank faster and all the way to the top on the third gens? Unless you have ALOT of patience, its hard to get the topped off to accurately check mileage. I was thinking along the lines of running another hose from the neck to a bulkhead fitting in the hump on the tank to vent air faster. How about it?

Thanks for the info, thats exactly what I was thinking about trying. Now have you got any ideas on how to get the truck away from my ole lady?
