Now I am getting the battery light comming on the dash. The manual says its refering to an interruption in the Batter Charging System...
How can this be happening?????

How many miles are on your 5 yr old vehicle? Most chryslers don't have too many charging problems, but alternators do wear out. Just be thankful you don't own a chevy. They go out every two to three yrs.
Well we bought it with 73k on the milage. I'm sorry, with some comp issues I've had to be a way from the board for a while, but what it was is, when they dropped the motor in, it broke the grounding strap and it arced the alternator, and caught the wireing on fire!!! The dealer wouldn't put it in for us, but they did give us the alternator and my hubby did it himself.
Then 2 weeks later it strands us 90 miles from home, over the hill in Auburn Ca. and When they dropped the motor in, they forgot to torq down the AC Pump's bolts, so as we were driving along with the kids, getting our pumpkins for halloween, we were dropping bolts! We stoped for something and tried to start it up again, the AC pump fell, and was hanging on by ONE bolt!
Oh the joys of vehicle ownership!!!
