I NEED HELP!!!!! Last month I bought a used grand caravan (2002) sport, when I bought it the headlights had a small problem. It only had one working headlight on the passenger side until you turned on the brights then the working light would be on the drivers side. The dealer we bought it from agreed to fix this. Turns out it wasn't blown bulbs but a bad switch. Since we got it back it's been acting up in a big way. The first weekend we were driving down the road and the wipers came on, they went off quickly. Only then as I was driving down the road the horn began to blow, after stopping we discovered that the headlights and flashers where going off too. As if the panic alarm had been triggered. The only way to stop the headlights and the horn was to disconnect the battery cable.
We took it back and they sent it to the dealership, they replaced the clock spring and sent it back. Since then when you begin to back up the radio and heater fan begin to turn off and on. If you hit a bump the horn blows, oh and did I mention the headlights are flashing again? It's back at the dealers but I want to know if anyone else has had this problem and if so what is it???

I don't know if this helps, but my dad's 98 Voyager was involved in an accident (driver's side) and the auto body shop did an ok job, but the alarm would trip on its own for no reason whatsoever. It never used to do this prior to the accident.

The dealer said there is a switch on the door jam (similiar to the switch that activates the dome lights when you open/close the door), and they replaced it. It did work, somewhat, as the alarm doesn't go off as often.
