my van has 105,000 on its 3.0 . I drive 1 1/2 hours to work via the freeway with no problems until I come off the freeway. Within a few minutes it starts sputtering and then dies if I come to a stop. I have felt on occasion a looping while driving at hiway speeds, but this is rare. Also at stops it seems to start loading up and smoking oil out of exhuast. I have heard it could be fuel filter, fuel regulator, automatic idle speed motor. I get great mileage so I am told it probably isnt the regulator. Any ideas?
