I'm looking for some pics of the "Little Red Wagon" Dodge A-100 and other vehicles of its type to submit along with a letter I'm writing to a diecast manufacturer. The idea is to convince this company to build scale models of the A-100. If anyone has some good pics of these unusual Dodge trucks, please post 'em!
Thanks,
--David

I can provide you with some pictures of A-100's, but you better get Bill "Maverick" Golden's permission before submitting pictures of the "Little Red Wagon" to diecast companies. That truck is trademarked.

Well of course the diecast company will have to get his permission to make the truck, but I'm simply suggesting it would make a great diecast, so I dont think I'm breaking any rules! (hopefully) :)

Have you looked on Ebay? Little Red Wagon diecasts turn up occasionally along with other A-100 banks. Johnny Lightning makes A-100 pickup diecasts but no vans...yet. I've been posting a lot of A-100 stuff on the Dodge Van forum here. I can let these trucks be forgotten.
I didn't mean to imply that you were breaking any rules...I wasn't sure if you were with a diecast company or not.

Oh no, I'm not with a diecast company... I WISH I had a job that interesting... I have the 1/64 Johnny Lightning wheelstanders but I have never seen them in the larger scales, especially 1/18. Hopefully someday they will make them... I will post about this on one of the diecast forums I go to and see if I can get some more support. :)

WOW is all I can say........ where can I get those wheelstanders?????? I'm working on a Dodge Truck wall of diecast and memorabilia, and those are a must for me!
when I asked my local diecast dealer if these were being made, WHY did he tell me "no"?

The van banks can be had on Ebay from time to time.
As far as I know the wheelstander trucks in that scale were very limited edition. If you want give my buddy a call or you can email him. His name is Brian Bowie and he is president of the A-100 Van Association club. His phone is 410-867-4056 (before 9pm ET) and his email is a100vans@comcast.net He can give you some more information about these large scale wheelstanders.

Thanks for the info! I checked back to that site and they still have some for sale. Also over at the Diecast forum I belong to, a couple people are saying that Highway 61 is supposed to issue a 1/18 scale diecast of the Little Red Wagon sometime in the next year, but there is a licensing/cost issue holding it up. I'll keep you posted!

I have most of the 60's A-100 literature, including all the service manuals. I also have a few B-series van brochures up to 1978.

I have a lot of 70's Dodge truck literature, and those models are great too, but I love the late 60's full-sized pickups from Dodge and would like to find literature for them. I did see some at www.mclellansautomotive.com though. Usually he has just about anything on cars or trucks made before 1975.:)
