1964 is the year that started the 40 year history of the Dodge Van. Dodge introduced the A100 Compact van and pickup as competition to the Ford Econoline, VW Microbus, Chevrolet/GMC Van, and Chevrolet Corvair vans. Here's some pics of a 64/65 brochure. 1965 saw the introduction of the 273ci V8, the only compact truck on the market to offer a V8.
