Yesterday the passenger floor got flooded with water. No rain outside. Could it be the heater core. AC/heat control knob only works on high. please help me.

Water would be one thing, but does the stuff on your floor smell like antifreeze. If that's the case, then, yes, it can't be much other than your heater core. I've never replaced one on a minivan myself, but have heard it is a complicated job that requires unbolting and lowering the steering column so the old core can be slid out thru the driver's footwell. The last heater core I replaced myself was on a 1980 Lincoln Towncar, and I swore I'd never do another. They are hell on earth. Call a professional.

If, in fact, you have a bad heater core, your control panel issue would be unrelated. See other recent threads on the procedure for recalibrating the controls. If this doesn't work, you will need to replace components in the panel.

Yeah, that would have been my next guess if the stuff on the floor wasn't antifreeze. Glad it was a cheap fix.
