Are you refering to the heater core? I just replaced my 98 Caravan heater core. It is an involved process that requires some special tools, and a full day. Your best bet may be to get a Haynes Repair Manual for 96-2002 Caravans at your local Auto Parts Store.
First of all are you sure your problem lies at the core? Do you have heat or not? it could be other issues than the heater core.
