just bought a 2005 grand caravan sxt. came with dvd player.
wondering if it can play dvd back ups? also came with backing sensors, do i need to remove this to add a hitch? it came with tow pack. i dont know if the
back sensors can be with the hitch.

The sensors should be fine. As for the DVD I have not tried yet. Let us know. I heard that the 6 disk DVD changer like I have will also read MP3 disks but will stop displaying after 99.

You may want to disaple the back-up sensors in the EVIC while you are towing if you dont want the system to be constantly going off while you are backing the trailer.

i tried the dvd backups and they worked. also tried the mp3 disc and it didnt work.

I have the 2005 SXT with the 6 DVD as well. It plays all backups that I have tried, DVD -/+ r, it sometimes takes about 30~45 secs to recognize the DVD, but they have all worked! As for the MP3's I am not sure, i thought that I tried that and it did not work, but you got me thinking now and will try again...

Iīve tryed to play backups but it didnīt work. I wrote the disks as region 0 ??

Write them as "1" or no region and they should work fine..... :gr_patrio
