The slant six engine is well known for it's longevity. Clifford Performance makes hi-po goodies for this engine.

Hey guys, my choke wire is broke on my d150 and need to know where it goes. Does anyone have a picture of the carburator setup that they could send me?

The heater for the choke runs off 12 volts, so if you can't see/find the other end of the wire where it broke (Although you *really* should try to find it so it doesn't short on something) you can run a new lead to somewhere there is power *only* when the ignition is on. An easy place to tap from is the ignition ballast resistor, just make sure you get the 12-volt side, not the reduced voltage side. Another option would be to tap off the starter relay on the ignition switch connection.
