WHen cruising at 60-75 I hear this low Intermittent rumble especially when cornering slightly on my 97 Grand Caravan with 125000 K. I can feel this in the steering wheel. It does not vibrate like an unbalanced wheel. The Dodge dealer said there is nothing wrong with it and if its anything it would be the tires. Just had new tires installed 5000 k before that and the front end allignment checked good. Wheel bearings check tight. Some one told me this Morning that the wheal bearings are probably tight, but are rough and replacing them will likely solve the problem.

Most of the time a sealed/pressed type bearing wont have any movement, unless it's really bad and by that time your wheel would be almost falling off. It really does sound like wheel bearings. More than likely the front bearings.

From your description, it seems highly likely to be a wheel bearing. Yes, they do go bad despite being factory sealed. You can do front ones yourself with moderate skills, but you must have a strut compressor and a proper ball joint separator. They're not that expensive to have them done, though.
