Did the knuckleheads at my dealership mess up or does the rear entertainment only work with the engine is running? I was assuming that it would work/turn-on all the time. I guess they would do this to keep you from draining the battery.

I don't know, but I find the whole thing to be a UI mess.
The power button doesn't shut the thing completely off. Stop button pauses. Hitting Stop pauses playback, then hitting power turns off the screen but the disc stars playing again.....
I just don't get it. Anyone want to enlighten me? Here's another thread (http://www.durangoclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=372) where I describe the oddity in more detail.
I just don't get it. When I hit "Power" I expect the thing to go completely off.
