Anyone else notice this issue? When you fold the 3rd row down two problems arise. When the back folds down the top corners come into contact with the lower portions hinge brackets. This will easily mar up or even rip the fabric of the seat. The 2nd issue is the bottom portion when pulled forward has sharp metal brackets on the bottom that contact the carpet causing bad wear marks.
My dealer put rubber edge molding on all sharp surfaces and this will help but I think I'll continue to put foam at the contact points when folding.
Dealer also called DC and they were unaware of any complaints on this. DC said they would inspect vehicles on the lot to confirm and then work on a solution. The more people that complain to DC or have their dealer report the issue the faster this will be resolved.
My seat is the full bench and not the split folding 3rd row found on limiteds.
