Brake pedal squeaks

My break pedal has started to squeak lately when I apply my brakes. It has gotten worse as of late now that the mornings are more damp. Anyone have this same problem and what did you do about it. I have 37,000 miles and the original rotors and pads on my '02 Dakota. I think that I just need to put some grease on the pivot point of the brake pedal.

Give it a little of squirt of WD-40.

Had the same problem with my ram, just a shot of silicon worked great.

Thanks. I figured it was that easy I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't an early sign for something more serious.
