my truck recently started to become hard to start, in that when you crank it will spin for about 3 to 4 seconds before starting. i have changed plugs,rotor,cap,and wires. now once it has started it cranks over easy. any suggestions? frustrated.

battery. Not sure how old your truck is but it could be a fuel pump letting the fuel drain back down when the engine is shut off.

my suggestion...take it into the dealer have them look at it
it's not normal for it to crank for 4-5 seconds like you're describing...it should take 1 second or less to turn over
