Hey guys. I've got a good deal commin my way on a srt4 motor and tranny, and I was wonderin...How much should I expect to pay in labor to put it into an '83 rampage.

Also wonderin if anyone here knows of a shop in the northwest, or atleast on the west coast, that'll do it for me.

I know it's gonna cost quite a bit, but with my semi-limited automotive knowledge, it seems like something best left to a professional.

Thanks

Assuming you'll find someone who will do it for you, your probably going to be looking at around $75.00 an hour labor, and around a 11 hour job. But your going to need more than just the motor and tranny to get it to work.

Thanks, I figured it'd be more than that.

As far as needing more than the motor and tranny, I know. Can spend around $1000 on whatever other parts are needed.

Just gotta find someone who'll do it now :D

That will be the hard part, Its going to be even harder to find someone who will do it and guarentee there work with a warrenty. My advice is to look for a Customs shop or an High preformance fabrication shop, cuz those guys do just about anything. Just look for the word "customs" in the automotive section of the yellow pages.
