Yep, pretty simple acturally. They are nothing more than door molding from pep boys. They come two to a pack and are about 24 inches long. There are various types, the package for these are have a Gold top. I just cut them to lenghts and angled them to match. The strip is not flat, it has a smal lip designed to "hug" the edge of a car door. I didnt try to trim it down because it lays nicely.
the total cost was around $11.

btw, AWESOME CAR MAGGY! I love those Magnums, every time i see them i like em more. is there normally just a body like there where you put the chrome trim? or was there something before? i never really paid that close attention.

Normally there are just indentations in the bumpers. The concept car has chrome filling the indentations, and that is what spawned this!
