Hello all,
I have a '95 intrepid 3.3liter. My tranny sometimes, not all the time, get stuck in second gear and I have to restart the car again. It seems like after the car is driven around for awhile. Also, all the time, in reverse, it grinds when I first step on the gas. One of the chain tranny places says just rebuild it and mentioned the fluid is burnt. The fluid is a light brown and there is extra fluid that I put in awhile ago with an additive which is causing an overflow I think. Realizing after the fact Dodge tranny's are sesitive to certain fluids and all additives, should I get it all flushed or just changed? Can this just be the problem, to much wrong fluid and its time for a fliter and fluid change?
Thanks in advance :D
