I found 3 performance accessories for Hemi Truck Engines at

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/ramhemi.htm

1. JET Chips Power Module Stage 1 or Stage 2 Chip
2. New Air Filter Housing and Filter: MAC Products Cold-Air Induction
3. MotorVator Throttle Body Spacer

I checked with their tech guy, and he says all will fit and work on Magnums and that several have been installed with no complaints. Any experience with these products? Will they fit? Will they improve performance?

Not sure about the jet chip mod since the Magnums have the MDS system and the trucks do not. I would hold off on that one until someone makes one just for the 300 and Magnum engine. The other mods (cold air, etc) should work just fine.

jet = junk
Very few goods things have ever been said about jet(my english teacher just awoke from the dead from that wording).

Not sure what they will do, how much performance they will add. Watch out a about voiding the drivetrain warranty, though.

I guess that I'll wait for the customized chips to come out. I see that a custom CAI is being done for the Magnum. What a fun car! I traded in an Infiniti G35 Coupe for the RT, and I'm glad I did.

I think the G35 is a sharp coupe.
I'd like to hear your opinion on it and the Magnum and why your glad you switched.
Thanks

The G35 is a bit scary, it's so fast. Also, I got to feel that everyone who passed me on the hwy. was challenging me personally. However, can't beat the howl of its engine or the way it's glued to the pavement.

Since I have kids and a wife, the Magnum is a much more practical vehicle. I just came back from the monthly Sam's COSTCO trip, and it all fit in with no problem. And it still kicks ass! Much more car for you money, IMHO. Also endorse the AIRAID CAI system. It adds extra punch to the motor and, incredibly, makes it sound much meaner too. No bad for $160 and 5 minutes of work. Did it myself, and I am no handyman. Can't think of a more cost efffective mod.

None of these parts will work. The complete intake arrangement is different than on the "truck HEMI". Also, because of the electronic throttle control, different transmission, ESP, MDS, etc... the chip will not work.

AIRAID CAI system? Can you please elaborate? Sounds interesting...

I made a search on Google.

Here is the site: http://www.autotrucktoys.com/airaid/product1.aspx?SID=24&Product_ID=5952&Category_ID=1286

It's an air filter intake that appears to install over the stock filter box.

The Magnum was listed under the Chrysler logo and not under the Dodge logo.

I found an ignition unit thru a friend of mine whom installed it on his mini-cooper which has coil over plugs ( 4 ) also. It is a company called Ignition Sotutions product is called Plasma Booster. I bought it thru RPM outlet on line. it was easy to install, it has ( 8 ) wires 1 wire to each coil and a ground. it works great they claim 7-12 hp and 3-4% increase in fuel. I have a 04 QC 2W 20" in town 14.5 hwy 18-19 now they say give it a couple of hundred miles and it should get a little better. Gary G

Herb,
(QC) = quad Cab, (2w) = 2 wheel drive, and (20") = 20" wheels,
also have throttle body spacer, K & N air cleaner, Dual exhaust from catlitic converters back, and the Plasma Booster ignition system. :gr_patrio
