i have a 97 prelude with basically everything done to it except for the turbo set-up i have not installed due to the point that my damn rings won't seat after 2 build-ups!!! it's driving my crazy and on monday my car is goign back to the shop and they are ganna pronounce what they r goign to do with it... i am sick of this car and i wanna get a reliable car b/c i will be moving from n.j to fl for a couple months... hehe.. after i get back i wanna throw some quality shit into it.. what r the warrenties like on this car and what can i install without voiding it?. do u suggest buying brand new or used? how much do they go for now? and what do these mopar ugrades run for?

You get a 3 yr 36k warranty on the SRT-4. The aftermarket stuff comes with a warranty through Mopar Performance as long as you buy their stuff.
There are 4 upgrades to the turbos I believe.
I would imagine you could get an extended warranty through Dodge. The base price is around 21k for the SRT-4.

Powertrain warranty on an SRT-4 is 7/70, bumper to bumper is 3/36. Mopar parts come with no warranty whatsoever. they are sold as is. however, if they are installed properly, they will not affect the powertrain warranty. the parts themselves just aren't covered.
