1992 Dodge Grand Caravan. Speedometer & Odometer not working!

I have a 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan (3.3 Liter V6). The speedometer (0 MPH) and Odometer stopped working but all of the other gauges are still working. Is it an electrical sensor problem or a mechanical problem?

I took out the gauge cluster and I don't see anything "physically" wrong with it so I am assuming it's a sensor problem. If it is, where can I locate the sensor that's creating this problem? :help:

Sounds like one of the transmission output sensors has gone bad . Not sure where it is located , maybe someone else can elaborate .

I found the culprit, it was the "Vehicle Speed Sensor (Distant sensor)", located on the back/side of the transmission. $52 later and my speedometer and odometer work, YES! :rck:
