Looking for a reasonable solution to fix my warping dash. I have a 1994 Intrepid still going strong. 27 MPG at 200,000 miles. However the air bag cover on the passenger side of the dash has started curling up. Priced it at the dealer and I would need to buy the entire core >$600. Need a cheaper fix.
Anyone having a similar problem ...if so what was your solution?

same thing happening here, but i have a 97 intrepid, and the passenger air bag cover is beging to warp, not very noticable, but i notice it. no ideas on how to fix it..:SHK:

Sorry can't help!! I have a '95 ES it has the same problem. I been to salvage yards and looked and either they were missing or they are just as bad as mine. I live in an area that has pleanty Intrepid because they were a popular rental cars and sold off at the local auction and just about everyone I have seen has the same problem. The one thing is that it seems to affect '94 to '97 models. I looked at buying a new one also but worried how long would it be before I have the same problem.

I try to keep it treated with Armor All, hoping it will reduce the curling.

yeah, my 95' had the same issue. Bought it used and was worried the airbag wasn't really in there. Boy was i glad when i was in my crash totaling it (both going 45)

96 here, and same problem. my friend has a 1995 and hers is even worse.
