Magnum Hitch Question!

I have the new hitch installed and it's really something. Totally invisible without the receiver.
My question is this: Since the te receiver goes straight up and is held up by the pin isn't ALL the weight of your tongue also held up by just the pin.

I don't feel too good about that.

Am I missing something?

Yes, it appears that all the weight is held by the pin. But on a normal hitch all the pulling power is held by the pin and I suspect that it would exceed the hitch weight loading during acceleration and stopping. I have not heard of any failures so it is probably ok.
