Hey everyone, I am havin some problems that I don't know if any of you others are, I have a CAI and every time it rains it seams that the intake finds a way to suck enough water into the filter to make my car either run like shit or die so do any of you any sudgestions on how to solve this or would gettin a filter like the one in the link below help?

i know how you feel.. thats the only sucks about CAI but if it does not rain they do a better job than a short ram.. i guess you need to get both. heheh short ram for rainy days and CAI for no rain days.. lol

for the price of what appears to be a very restrictive low quality filter, you could just by a bypass valve and solve the problem permanently. no guess work, it's proven to work. by the wayTuner, i'm pretty new to this site, and also lean towards the well balanced performance aspect of the Neons. it's good to see knowledgable enthusiasts.

from what i heard.. the bypass valve doesnt really work.. it actually sucks more... just hurd it from people so yea.. not really sure but never did have a cai problem on rainy day here for me.... its always good to make a custom cai....

You can hide it behind part o-f the front bumper. yes it will take away from some of the cold air but it will stell get into it but the rain should not get in as much.
