Does anyone know if installing a CAI will void the factory warranty through dodge? I want to install one in my 04 durango hemi, but dont want to void my warranty.

No it should not, the law states in order for the dealer to refuse to honor your warranty they must prove that the aftermarket part you put in caused the malfunction, etc. For example if your stock radio went bad and they saw that you had an aftermarket air intake, they must prove that the aftermarket intake caused the stock radio to go bad, etc. God Bless. :)

It won't void your warranty. However, guaze filters such as K&N can let in more fine dust than a traditional filter. If you live in a dusty area such as the desert the increased dust might find its way into the intake. If it does, the engine warranty could be voided, BUT, the burden of proof is on Dodge, not you. Oil tests will tell the story. Living in AZ, K&N's are just not for me but others have no problems.
