After less than two days having my RT I had a converter lockup which made it like a manual transmission in gear with the clutch out when you come to a stop. Anytime you put it in gear it would shutter and the engine would stall. Its been at the dealer since Monday and they, along with engineers from the trans. factory are using it for on the job training. I went and checked it out and there was no debris in the pan. Everything looked cool and it was working flawlessly until the lockup. My only complaints are they gave me a brand new stripped down silver SXT as a loaner. It's not half the the car my fully equipped RT seemed to be in the short time I had it, but is still a Magnum. The other complaint is, I've had the loaner longer than I've had my midnight blue RT.
The factory is finally throwing in the towel and sending (overnight) a new torque converter and valve body. It's supposed be fixed tomorrow PM, but we'll see. It would be nice to have it again before the weekend.
My RT also has the tow package and I looked around under it for any obvious signs of tow package stuff. The sticker says the only things in the tow package are the severe duty engine cooling and load leveling and height control. Receiver and tie-harness are another $400 installed. Anyway, I couldn't see any evidence of "load leveling shocks (lines, hoses or sensors) or special springs and no visible harness tie-in point. Doesn't mean its not there---I probably just don't know what I am looking for.
